A Sneak Peek At Our New Secret Blend 🤫🍉🍓
If you have been following our Wander Cuppa journey, you will know we are always on the hunt for curious blends that surprise you. Well, we have something brand new brewing behind the scenes and honestly, we are completely obsessed.
We couldn’t keep it a secret any longer, so here is a sneaky look at the ingredients for our upcoming fruity superstar.
Why You’re Going To Love This Blend
- The Perfect Premium Base: We have started with a gorgeous, delicate white tea base (40%) to keep things super light, smooth and premium. White tea is one of the least processed teas, made from carefully handled young leaves and unopened buds that are carefully withered and often air-dried for a clean, almost airy cup with a delicate character. Traditional Chinese white tea from Fujian province is known for its purity, freshness and soft, floral notes, especially when picked early in the season from tender spring-picked leaves and youngest buds. This style of tea is often made from whole buds or whole leaves, giving it a refined taste and a soft, rounded mouthfeel.
- The Ultimate Summer Fruit Mash-up: This is where the real magic happens. We have packed it with juicy watermelon pieces (5%), sweet strawberry slices (1%) and orange wedges (3%). The flavour is beautifully fruity and tangy with a distinct, sweet strawberry note, plus the natural sweetness white tea brings through underneath. It is silky, sweet and full of floral sweetness, giving the cup a slightly fuller, more rounded one while still feeling light.
- A Natural Visual Stunner: We don't do boring tea. We have added apple bits, carrot bits, sunflower blossoms and beautiful rose petals. It looks like an absolute work of art while it unfurls and dances in your pot, with a better look and more aroma as the blend steeps.
The Verdict
This new blend is a proper affordable luxury that turns a simple cup of tea into a beautiful ritual. It is bright, refreshing and tastes miles better than any standard supermarket drink.
White tea has a gentle, refined taste, often lighter than black tea but with more nuance than you might expect. It is a traditional Chinese white tea style that relies on minimal handling, so the character stays soft, fresh and subtle rather than strong or tannic. For the best cup, brew it in fresh water at 70°c to 80°c for 2 to 3 minutes, or a little cooler if you prefer a softer infusion. You can also enjoy several infusions from good loose leaf white tea, which makes it a lovely everyday choice. If you like to keep things simple, use cooler water for a gentler cup with a gentle lingering finish.
While we are putting the final touches on this one, it will be dropping very soon.
