Bronze award news for Bothy Hearth
We have more good news to share. Scotland Food & Drink has shared our Bronze award news on its website.
Bothy Hearth took Bronze in the Tea category at the Great British Food Awards 2026. It is a spiced green tea made for cosy autumn and winter evenings. The idea came from a caravan stay in the Scottish Highlands, where a little fireplace gave David and me the spark. Like much of our range, it reflects the places, tea rooms and tea travels that inspire our loose leaf blends.
Thank you to Derek and everyone at Scotland Food & Drink for spreading the word. Read the full story here:
Cumbernauld tea business wins Bronze at Great British Food Awards 2026
We're proud to be members of Scotland Food & Drink. It's lovely to have our small Cumbernauld business backed by the wider Scottish food and drink community.
Tea has always followed us home from our travels, just for ourselves. Those trips shaped the loose leaf blends we now hand pack in Cumbernauld, from green tea and black tea to herbal tea and fruit infusion blends. They also inspired our love of tea rooms, tea estates and the stories behind how tea reaches our cups.
You can find Bothy Hearth on our website and in our stockists across Scotland. All of our teas are vegan friendly and ethically sourced. We also include brewing guidance, with steeping times from 2 to 15 minutes to suit everything from a quick cup to a longer, more relaxed infusion. For loose leaf tea, you may also find infusers and strainers helpful.
Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on.
Diana and David
